This month’s workshop started with a discussion of tension swatches vs. gauge swatches.
Then, we went into Kit’s studio to see how a gauge swatch is made.
From the gauge swatches created, the standard machine group measured and calculated the stitches per inch and rows per inch from a standard gauge swatch, and the bulky group did the same with a bulky gauge swatch.
Alicia taught us a cool tip, to place a T-pin to mark every 5 stitches to make the counting of stitches easier.
