About

The Los Angeles San Fernando Valley Knit Club’s  first meeting was on April 20, 2002.  There were 10 members present, including founding members Linda, Kit, and Sharon.  Several of our members have been published in knitting magazines.  Others have started knitting businesses, and some were/are machine knitting instructors.

Our monthly meetings open with a Show and Tell session, where members share and discuss their machine knit creations.  Next, there is a Homework Review session, where assignments from the previous month’s lesson are shown and discussed.  After a short break, members congregate in a work room with knitting machines set up for a Demonstration/Lesson on a selected monthly machine knitting topic.

Each meeting is filled with friendship, laughter, and camaraderie!
